Hugulapata in Ganjam: Making a scathing attack on the Naveen Pattanaik government in the state , the President of the Bharatiya Janata Party(BJP), Amit Shah, today claimed that the people of Odisha would dislodge the ruling BJD in the 2019 assembly election and the BJP would get a thumping two-third majority.
Shah was speaking to BJP workers on the occasion of the ‘MO Booth, Sabuthu Majboot’ programme undertaken by the party to organize party workers at the booth level in the country.
Incidentally Shah would cover several parts of Ganjam, the bastion of BJD supremo and Chief Minister Naveen Pattanik.
He was accompanied by Union Petroleum Minister Dharmendra Pradhan, State BJP President Basant Panda, Vice President Sameer Mohanty and scores of other party workers. He is on a three day visit to the state to establish local connect with people and workers in all the districts. He reached the state capital yesterday.
An interesting feature of Shaha’s agenda included having lunch or dinner with ‘dalit’ or ‘adivasi’(tribal) families.
