Cuttack: Arrested criminal siblings – Sushant and Sushil Dhalasamant (D-siblings) – will be moved from Chowdwar prison to discrete jails today. While Sushil will be shifted to Balasore prison, Sushant will be moved to Jharpara jail in Bhubaneswar. An order in such manner has been issued to the particular prisons by the ADG (Prisons).
On March 11, the Sub Divisional Judicial Magistrate (SDJM) in Cuttack had allowed the Commissionerate Police to shift the arrested Dhalasamant brothers from the Choudwar jail.
Notably, on March 1, the Commissionerate of Police had made an appeal before the SDJM court asking for permission to shift the Dhalasamant brothers from the Choudwar Circle Jail to other jails in the State for security reasons.
Till now, Sushant was lodged in Ward no-3 of Cell no-2 of the Choudwar jail whereas his younger brother Sushil was lodged in Ward no-5 of Cell no-3.
