Melbourne: Australian Twenty20 skipper Aaron Finch has played a demolishing knock in the second T20 game after India posting a 184-run target here at Melbourne Cricket Ground on Friday.
He is batting on 69 off just 42 deliveries, including eight boundaries and two maximums. He added 94 runs for the first wicket with Shaun Marsh who was departed by Ravichandran Ashwin in the 10th Over. He scored a steady run-a-ball 23, including two boundaries. Hardik Pandya and Yuvraj Singh, both bagged a wicket each in their first overs as Chris Lynn and Glenn Maxwell were dismissed.
Australia have scored 102 runs with loosing three wickets in 12 overs. Finch and Shane Watson are at the crease.
Previously, India played superbly and posted 185-run target for the Aussies. Rohit Sharma was the highest scorer as he scored 60 runs off just 47 deliveries and made a 97 run opening stand in just 11 overs with Shikhar Dhawan who scored 42 runs off just 32 deliveries.
In-form Virat Kohli came at no.3 and played a magnificent knock as he scored an unbeaten 33-ball-59 runs including seven fours and a six. He is yet to be dismissed in the series as he also remained unbeaten in the first game where he scored an unbeaten 90 runs.
