Bhubaneswar: Commissionerate Police on Friday rescued from Keonjhar the minor girl kidnapped from Bargarh area here four days back. The girl has now been reunited with his guardians.
Sources said, the police has also confined the couple who kidnapped the minor and is questioning them.
On Thursday, the parents of the kidnapped girl met police commissioner and demanded immediate rescue of their daughter.
Acting on their complaint, two teams of Commissionerate Police raided various places at Keonjhar and rescued the minor girl.
Notably, a couple who were residing at the girl’s house on rent had abducted her. A complaint in this regard was registered with police on February 8.
