New Delhi(PTI): NDA’s presidential nominee Ram Nath Kovind today met former prime minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee at his residence here to seek the patriarch’s blessings.
Kovind was accompanied by his wife during the meeting at Vajpayee’s residence. The former Prime Minister Atal Behari Vajpayee is suffering from dementia and critically ill due to to old-age complications.
He had paid courtesy visits to BJP veterans L K Advani and Murli Manohar Joshi yesterday.
The former Bihar governor was picked as the ruling National Democratic Alliance’s candidate for president earlier this week.
