Kumble steps down as India Cricket Team Coach

After days of speculations and reports of conflicts of views between the Indian team captain Virat Kholi and team coach Anil Kumble, the coach has of the team has decided to step down.As the team is set to play matches in the West Indies a massive crisis hits the team. It seems that Anil Kumble has turned down the offer of being coach for next two weeks, till the end of the series in West Indies.

A BCCI committee comprising the Secretary Amitab Choudhruy and MV Sridhar GM were sent to England to talk to both Anil and Virat to sort out the matters failed. The loss in Champions Trophy precipitated the crisis and Anil send in his resignation to BCCI CEO stepping down from his post. It seems Virat had his way in convincing the top brass of BCCI. Speculation are that either Virendra Shewag or Rahul Dravid will don the coveted cap of the Indian team. Reliable sources says that Captain Virat has refused to budge from his stands.
