Bhubaneswar: The Odisha Assembly was dismissed till 3 pm on Wednesday after Opposition MLA made a ruckus while Law minister Arun Sahu was giving an announcements on assets attributed into a SBI account having a place with BJD, as charged by Leader of Opposition Narasingha Mishra.
Dissatisfied with the statement of the Law minister after an adjournment till 12.30 pm, members of BJP and Congress shouted slogans and moved to the well of the House. Congress chief whip Tara Prasad Bahinipati stood over the reporter’s table and broke the Speaker’s mike.
Amid the pandemonium, the Speaker adjourned the House till 3 pm.
Earlier in the day, both Opposition and ruling party members shouted slogans in the House as soon as it assembled for the day’s business.
