Another hit and run case recorded in Mumbai crime files. On Thursday late night a speeding Mercedes car hit people sleeping on a pavement in south Mumbai.
The incident took place around 12:15 am at Mohammed Ali road, when a Mercedes car drove over a pavement where four women and a child were sleeping.
According to the information all injured are being treated at the government-run JJ Hospital. The condition of two is very critical.
The driver rushed away from the spot, while the police are investigating the matter. “We are not sure about the number of persons inside the car”, said a senior police officer.
