Restaurant Owner Shot Dead in Delhi


New Delhi : A 60-year-old eatery owner in South Delhi’s Lajpat Nagar area was shot dead, after a contention by four unidentified men on Monday night. The episode occurred around 10 pm when four men had gone to the Sindhi Dhaba in Lajpat Nagar 3 in a car.

According to reports, they had their dinner and attempted to leave without paying the bill taking after which Vasudeo moniker Pappu, the proprietor of the restaurant, attempted to intercede.

An altercation broke out after which, one of the four men took out a gun and allegedly shot four rounds there.

The accused fled the scene by the time the police reached the spot.
