Bhubaneswar: Ruckus continued in the Odisha Assembly on Tuesday after the Opposition made logjam in the house demanding resignation of Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik, Food Supply and Consumer Welfare Minister Sanjay Dasburma and director of Chit Fund Commission of Inquiry Justice MM Das.
When the procedure of the Assembly started, the Oppositions Congress and BJP raged into the well of the House yelling slogans and showing flags and placards requesting abdication of the CM Naveen and Dasburma.
They also demanded ouster of Justice Das for his remark against the duped chit fund investors.
Unable to run the House amidst the uproar, Speaker Niranjan Pujari adjourned the House till 3 pm.
“The BJD MLAs are avoiding the chit fund issue as they are trapped in the issue which is evident from the statement of Justice Das on duped investors,” said Congress spokesperson Tara Parasad Bahinipati.
