New Delhi: The All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) authorities today informed that Kandhamal twins Jaga-Balia are slowly improving.
In a press release, hospital authorities informed that both the babies are stable and are doing well though they are still in the ICU and a team of 15 consultants and 10 residents and several plastic surgeons are taking care of the twins under the supervision of Professor Ashok Kumar Mahapatra and Dr. Deepak Gupta.
Their breathing is good and both of them are hemodynamically stable, the press release said.
The press release also said that Jaga is has started responding to some command and is on dialysis to support his kidney function. Their condition is likely to improve slowly in the next 15 days and doctors expect that they will be in the ICU for 7-10 days or may be for a few more days depending on their condition.
