Bhubaneswar(Samaya Bureau): Sulochana Das, Odisha Pradesh Congress Committee (OPCC) spokesperson today met BJD chief and the Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik at his residence raising speculations about the former joining the ruling party soon.
Das reportedly has made up her mind to quit the Congress as she was feeling uncomfortable within a party embroiled in bitter intra-party squabbles over the leadership issue. Though Sulochana is yet to make any official announcement source s close to her revealed that she might join the BJD tomorrow. .
Earlier, district presidents of Congress Angul, Dhenkanal including Nayagarh along with some former MLAs and PCC office bearers resigned while former Congress legislator Dushmant Naik announced his intention of leaving the Congress.
