T20 Practice Game: Indian Bowlers show Discipline in Bowling, Beat Hosts by 74 Runs

Perth: Indian bowlers have shown discipline in their line and length by denying the Western Australia side to go past 120-run mark in 20 overs in the 20-over practice game here on Friday.

The disciplinary bowling performances helped the visitors to seal a 74-run victory over the hosts.

Chasing a massive 193-run target, the hosts were restricted on 118/6 at the end of 20 overs. Opener Travis Birt was the highest scorer with an unbeaten 74 off just 60 deliveries including 11 boundaries.

Esecially spinners and young left-arm pacer Barinder Sran bowled well while Sran, Ravindra Jadeja and Axar Patel bagged two wickets each.

Sran picked two wickets by conceding only 24 runs in his four overs while both Jadeja and Patel conceded 13 runs each in their 3-over spells.

The Indian players have shown a great attitude by winning a perfect game for the batsmen and also for the bowlers ahead of 3-match T20 series, starting from January 12.
