Team India coach before Sri Lanka tour

After failed to resolve the tangle between coach Anil Kumble and captain Virat Kohli, BCCI has made a stop gap arrangement by naming Sanjay Bangar as the coach for the West Indies tour.Reliable sources said that BCCI tried to solve the differences but all efforts failed. Kumble stepped aside and in his statement said that Kohli had reservations about his coaching ‘style’ and there partnership was untenable. It is believed that Kumble after the loss in the champions trophy gave a dressing down to the players which precipitated the crisis and lead to Kumble stepping down.

Speaking to media senior board official Rajeev Shukla said that a new head coach will be appointed before India’s tour of Sri Lanka next month. Rahul Dravid and Virendra Shewag seems to be the top runners for the coveted coach post.
