Bhubaneswar: The verbal war between veteran Congress leader and former minister Suresh Kumar Routray alias Sura and several Congress MLAs who have launched ‘oust PCC Chief Prasad Harichandan’ campaign just denies to die down.
Challenging Routray who had yesterday warned that those who oppose Prasad should be prepared to meet dire consequences, Tara Prasad Bahinipati, party’s MLA from Yeypore in Koraput said,”We are not cowards. We are prepared and can give tit for tat treatment.”
Bahinipati further added that Routray should not behave merely as the father-in-law of the PCC Chief and must think about the future of the party.
While emphasizing that the ‘dislodge Prasad’ campaign will continue till the goal is fulfilled, Tara dubbed that it is because of people like Routray that the Congress party is not able to come back to power in Odisha.
Bahinipati has urged the Central High Command to intervene immediately to resolve the crisis and the save the party from further damage.
