Bhubaneswar: October 6:
593 new covid positive cases were found in Odisha during last 24 hours and with this, State’s total cases(since the beginning of pandemic) increased to 10,29,412.
In the same time period, 557 new patients recovered from the disease and total recoveries reached 10,16,165.
Of 593 cases, 346 were in quarantine and 247 are local contact cases. Also, 80 cases are under 18 years’ of age.
Active cases stand at 4967.
State reported 4 more deaths and with this, total death toll increased to 8227.
71,749 tests have been conducted in last 24 hours. Daily Positivity Rate remains at 0.82 percent.
Eight Districts of Odisha do not have single case even. Khurda recorded 290 cases alone, which is nearly 50 percent of the new cases found in last 24 hours.
