Bhubaneswar: September 6: On Monday, Odisha reported 609 new cases, which is 196 cases less than yesterday. Yesterday it was 805.
122 cases of today’s total are under the age group of 0-18. Also, as informed by Health Department, 354 people were in quarantine and rest 255 are local cases.
Total cases in the State (since the beginning of pandemic) increased to 10,12,167. Out of that, 9,97, 063 patients recovered so far from the disease with 763 recoveries reported yesterday.
Active cases dipped further to 6996.
65,268 tests conducted in last 24 hours and Daily Positivity Rate come down to 0.93 per cent.
8 deaths have been recorded in last 24 hours and State’s total death toll rose to 8055, informed Health Department.
Still, Khurda reported highest cases, but it is below 200 after a long gap.
