Bhubaneswar: October 1: Odisha reported 3,615 new Corona Positive Cases in last 24 hours, taking the total tally to 2,22,734.
Out of 3,615 new cases, 2,118 people were in quarantine and rest 1,497 are local contact cases.
According to Health & Family Welfare Department, Khurda District reported 671 new cases in last 24 hours, followed by Cuttack 371 cases, Puri 197 cases, Angul 188 cases, Jajpur 144 cases, Malkangiri & Mayurbhanj 123 cases each, Kendrapara 119 cases, Keonjhar 109 cases, Jharsuguda & Kalahandi 106 cases each, Balasore 96 cases, Bargarh 86 cases, Jagatsinghpur 83 cases, Bolangir 81 cases, Sambalpur & Sundergarh 73 cases each, Sonepur 70 cases, Nuapada 66 cases, Nayagarh 64 cases, Bhadrak 61 cases, Dhenkanal 60 cases, Kandhamal 59 cases, Nabarangpur 57 cases, Koraput 47 cases, Ganjam 42 cases, Rayagada 39 cases, Gajapati 29 cases, Boudh 20 cases and Deogarh 12 cases. Also, 240 cases are there in State Pool.
In last 24 hours, 17 patients succumbed to the disease and total death toll increased to 859 in Odisha
So far, 1,85,700 patients have recovered from the disease in Odisha. At present, 36,122 active cases are there in the State.
