Bhubaneswar: September 28: Odisha registered 3,235 new COVID-19 Cases in last 24 hours and with this, total cases in Odisha jumped to 2,12,609.
According to Health & Family Welfare Department’s data, out of 3,235 new cases, 1,915 are quarantine cases and rest 1,320 are local contact cases.
Khurda District recorded 506 new cases in last 24 hours, followed by Cuttack 318, Angul 179, Bargarh 137, Nabarangpur 124, Sambalpur 120, Jajpur 110, Mayurbhanj 118, Nuapada 106, Kendrapara 103, Bolangir, Rayagada & Sundergarh 101 each, Balasore 100, Jagatsinghpur & Keonjhar 86 each, Puri 79, Jharsuguda 71, Dhenkanal 69, Bhadrak 67, Sonepur 65, Kandhamal 62, Koraput 59, Nayagarh 43, Kalahandi & Boudh 42 each, Gajapati 31, Ganjam 28, Malkangiri 21, Deogarh 12 and 148 cases from State Pool.
In last 24 hours, 16 patients have died due to the pandemic and total death toll increased to 813.
So far, 1,73,571 patients have recovered from the disease in Odisha.
