Bargarh: An youth killed on the spot while another sustained critically harmed when a motor bike in which they were attempting to cross the street collide with a speeding truck close Rengali Camp Chhak under Atabira police limits in Odisha’s Bargarh area this morning.
The deceased has been identified as Bidyadhar Pradhan of Barahamunda village under Atabira police station limits. The seriously injured Subala Mahakud of Gandapali village has been shifted from Bargarh District Headquarters hospital to VSS Medical College and Hospital at Burla where his condition is stated to be critical.
Reports said the duo was on the way to a nearby rice mill where they were working on a bike in the morning. While trying to cross the National Highway at Rengali Camp Chhak, a speeding truck collided with their bike killing Bidyadhar on the spot.
