Bhubaneswar: July 29: Daily Positivity Rate is declining in Odisha. Today it is 2.09 percent. In last 24 hours, 76,946 swab tests have been done and 1615 persons were found infected with Covid-19.
With 1615 fresh cases, total cases in Odisha increased to 9,74,132 and out of that, 9,51,049 people have recovered from the disease. As informed by Health Department, Government of Odisha, yesterday 1699 people have come out of infection. Active cases number is also reducing day by day, but slowly. Today, it is 17,262.
Health department informed regarding the death of 65 persons, which are not of a particular day. It gives details of past deaths for which the death audit process has been duly completed and the cause of death has been identified as due to Covid-19.
Khurda, Cuttack & Puri district reported more than 100 cases in last 24 hours and rest are below 100.
Khurda registered 442 cases, followed by Cuttack 229 cases and Puri 123 cases.
