Killer Whale: 2 Persons Including One Techie Student Rescued From Jaws Of Blue Whale Challenge

Berhampur: Swinging into rapid action to evade any untoward incident, Hinjili police in Ganjam district today rescued an engineering student from the clutches of deadly Blue Whale challenge game here.

The student has been identified as Chandan Prasad Khuntia.

As per reports, Chandan had completed four steps of the Blue Whale game and drawing a blue whale on his left hand he had posted the image on social media platform Facebook through his smartphone.

In another incident. earlier in the morning, a youth was admitted to hospital under critical condition after playing Blue Whale game in Kendrapara district. He had cut his right hand to take up a task in dangerous online suicide challenge.

The victim was identified as Anam Mallick (39) of Mangalpur village under Nikirei police limits in Kendrapara district.

Reports said that Anam’s family members rescued him before any untoward incident could take place on the night of September 9. The condition of the Blue Whale game victim was stated to be stable.
