Pallav Bagla Bags Indira Gandhi Prize For Popularisation Of Science


New Delhi (PTI): Science journalist Pallava Bagla was today awarded the prestigious Indira Gandhi Prize for popularisation of science.

More than a thousand fellows of the Indian National Science Academy (INSA) collectively choose once in every three years the best populariser of science in the country.

Bagla is the Science Editor with the NDTV and a science columnist with the Press Trust of India (PTI).

The Indira Gandhi Prize for popularisation of science was established by the INSA in 1986 to encourage and recognise public awareness of science.
