MLA Alka Lamba Quits AAP over Differences with Party

Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) MLA Alka Lamba left the party after months of differences on social media with the senior leaders of the AAP.

Alka Lamba tweeted, “The time has come to say ‘Good Bye’ to #AAP and to resign from the primary membership of the party. The past 6years was a great learning for me. Thanks to all.”

Few days back, Lamba had met the Congress President Sonia Gandhi to discuss issues in ‘current affairs.’

Lamba had started her political career in 1994 as a student leader and later joined the Congress Party. She moved to the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) in 2013.
