Jakarta : Foreign Minister Sushma Swaraj along with Secretary General of Association of South East Asian Nations (ASEAN), Le Luong Minh inaugurated the ‘Indian Mission to ASEAN’ in Jakarta, Indonesia. The mission has been set-up to intensify relations between India and Indonesia. During her address, Swaraj said that ASEAN lied at the core of India’s ‘Act East Policy’ and at the centre of a dream of an Asian century. After the inauguration ceremony, Swaraj called on former President of Indonesia, Megawati Sukarnoputri. She also held bilateral talks with Palestine Prime Minister Rami Hamdallah and Nepal Prime Minister Sushil Koirala. Swaraj arrived in capital Jakarta on Tuesday on her five-day visit to Indonesia.
