Bhubaneswar: April 20: Odisha reported 4,761 new Corona Positive cases in last 24 hours. Of this, 2,785 people were in quarantine and rest 1976 are local contact cases. With this, total cases in Odisha increased to 3,77,464 and out of that,3, 47,637 persons have already recovered from the disease.
Khurda district has recorded 820 new Corona Positive Cases in last 24 hours, which is highest among districts of Odisha. Also, Sundergarh & Nuapada district have registered 673 & 534 cases respectively.
Besides, Bolangir district reported 322 cases, followed by Jharsuguda 234 cases, Bargarh 198 cases, Puri 193 cases, Sambalpur 183 cases, Cuttack 176 cases, Kalahandi 167 cases, Nawarangpur 154 cases, Keonjhar 103 cases, Jajpur & Mayurbhanj 86 cases each, Balasore 84 cases, Angul 81 cases, Bhadrak & Nayagarh 63 cases each, Rayagada 60 cases, Kendrapara 50 cases, Ganjam 49 cases, Sonepur 47 cases, Deogarh, Gajapati & Koraput 31 cases each, Kandhamal 25 cases, Boudh 23 cases, Jagatsinghpur 22 cases, Malkangiri & Dhenkanal 6 cases each and 160 cases identified from State Pool.
1503 people have recovered from the disease in last 24 hours. At present, 27,821 active cases are there in State.
Odisha reported 5 deaths in last 24 hours. Out of five deaths, 3 are from Nuapada, one from Rayagada and one from Keonjhar District.
