Hearing Adjourned In Casting Couch Case Against Papu Pom Pom

Bhubaneswar: A special Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) court today had to adjourn hearing in the casting couch case against Ollywood comedian Papu Pom Pom as none of the witnesses appeared before court.

Reports said that though the court had earlier issued summons to four witnesses, no one appeared before the court for deposition and hence the date of hearing has been adjourned to another date.

Meanwhile, it is learnt that the victim, a minor girl and her family members too have changed their address as they have shifted to another rented house.

The minor girl, her parents and the Child Welfare Committee (CWC) member Nirupama Ratha who had brought the allegations against the actor were directed to appear before the court for the hearing.

The girl had leveled allegations of sexual exploitation against Papu Pom Pom in June 2016.
