Padma Shri Sand Artist Sudarsan Pattnaik Pays Homage to Indian Air Force


World renowned Odisha born sand artist and Padma Shri recipient Sudarsan Pattnaik in recognition to the Indian Air Force (IAF) paid his rich respects through his delicately crafted sand art after the pre dawn Balakot airstrike in Pakistan over Jaish-e-Mohammed camp on February 26.

Pattnaik, a self determined sand artist gave a strong message against terrorism through his art on the Puri beach in Odisha and conveyed the message ‘Salute To Indian Air Force’ to mark the successful surgical operation.

After the horrendous Pulwama attack on February 14 by a Jaish suicide bomber Adil Ahmed Dar, PM Narendra Modi chaired the high-level meeting on the intervening night of February 25-26 and ordered the covert airstrike over the Jaish camp in Balakot in a befitting reply.m

As per reports, the terrorist camp along with terrorists, trainers, senior commanders were eliminated by the twelve Mirage 2000 fighter jets laser guided 1000 kg bomb missile attack.
