‘Samaya’ Presents ‘Mahabahu’ To Naveen

Bhubaneswar: Eminent Odia litterateur and Editor-in-Chief of Odia daily the ‘Samaya’ on July 27 bequeathed a copy of the ‘Mahabahu’ to Chief Minister Naveen Pattanaik at the Chief Minister’s Office(CMO) in the state secretariat here.

The book published by the Asirbad Publications, a unique and first of its kind researched documents on the evolution and socio-cultural influences of Lord Jagannth and his elder brother Lord Balabhadra and sister Goddess Subhadra, has been widely appreciated by its readers not just in Odisha but outside the state as well.

The Chief Minister Naveen Patanaik, himself an author and avid reader, appreciated the efforts of the Samaya house in churning out such a precious book.

Editor of the Samaya Dillip Bisoi too was present on the occasion.

‘Mahabahu’ was released on July 1 by the Chief Managing Director(CMD) of NALCO, Tapan Kumar Chand, in Bhubaneswar.
