Keonjhar: The Council of Higher Secondary Education (CHSE) on Sunday asked the officials from the Dharanidhara (DD) Autonomous College here to send back the Plus Two papers unchecked after a short out upset the evaluation of the plus two examination papers.
The online evaluation of the papers stayed disturbed for as far back as two days because of electricity problem as a consequence of the short circuit.
Though Nesco and General Electricity Department (GED) were informed, no action was taken.
Remaining 500 Chemistry and 250 Commerce papers were returned to the CHSE office on Monday due to the evaluation disruption.
Golakh Bihari Rout, Principal, Dharanidhara Autonomous College, said, “We informed Nesco as well as the GED. However, nobody turned up. After we informed the Collector, Nesco officials visited the college and said this was the job of GED.”
He added when the council control room was apprised about the situation, it asked the college to send back the answer sheets unchecked.
